Software
Below you will find all the information you need in order to get the BASZ expert advisor software up and running. If you have any issues getting it installed and running, please post the details in our Discord channel (more on that below).
All of our software runs on MT4, which is a free trading terminal for retail. If you have never used MT4 before, no worries, simply visit the section below for a tutorial.
Downloading
Installation
Keys
Product key
In your downloads there is also a text file that contains the monthly product key. This file and corresponding key is updated on the first day of each month and needs to be downloaded every month. The value in the text file needs to be copied from the file and pasted into the software configuration in the product key field.
Private key
Whe you signed up, you received a welcome email that contained the link to this page. In the same email, you should have also received your private key the value of which looks something like: saridharper_6e921f6c2e35e61f8e72aad60377. You also need to copy your private key to the software configuration and paste it to the private key field.
Please note that your private key is valid for as long as you are subscribed at Pipnotic, and needs to be in every instance of software in order for the software to work. The product key on the other hand, only needs to be copied and pasted to one instance of the software. All other instances are able to read this value once entered the one time.
DLL Imports
In order for the software to work, you must allow it to use resources, also referred to Dynamic Link Libraries or DLLs for short, which are located on your computer. This you can do by following the steps below:
- From the MT4 terminal menu
- Tools
- Options
- Expert Advisors tab
- Check “Allow DLL imports”
- Finish by clicking on the OK button
Risk Warning
The BASZ Expert Advisor is what is known as a trading robot. It runs on your terminal and is capable of executing trades on your behalf, on your account. This software is provided for educational purposes only, and should not be used to trade real money. If you decide to use it to trade on a live account, you do so at your own risk. Pipnotic is not responsible for any damages, financial or otherwise that may occur by using this software.
